Cloudy vial after mixing

Hey everyone, I just mixed a new vial and noticed it looks a bit cloudy and weird. Has anyone else had this happen, and did you end up binning it?

Oh no, that happened to me once when I rushed things straight from the fridge! I just let mine sit out on the bench for a bit to see if it clears up, but if it stays milky I personally wouldn't risk using it 😊

That would stress me right out! I had a cloudy one a few months back and just tossed it after reading that it usually means something went wrong with the water or the temp.

I had that happen once. I waited about an hour to see if it settled, but it stayed murky so I just discarded it to be safe.

A solution that has gone cloudy or thrown visible clumps has usually changed in one of two ways: the peptide has aggregated or the vial is contaminated. Warming the vial does not reverse aggregation and does not undo contamination. The faq-why-is-my-vial-clumpy-or-cloudy entry in the app's Library notes that this is not something to diagnose by eye.

A cloudy or clumped vial is a reason to stop using it and to raise it with a healthcare professional. Neither the forum nor the app can advise on side effects or use, so please speak with a qualified health professional.
