Ghk-cu changed colour in the vial
Hey everyone, noticed my ghk-cu has shifted a bit in colour lately. Is this normal or did I ruin it somehow? Just want to check if oxidation is a thing people see often.
Know something that helps?

The Peptmate forum and app cannot advise on the quality, storage, or safety of altered compounds. If you are concerned about a physical reaction, please speak with a qualified health professional.
The GHK-Cu entry in the app's Library covers its chemistry as a copper-binding tripeptide, but does not provide guidance on physical changes in vials or signs of degradation. The available research on GHK-Cu consists of cell culture, animal studies, and topical cosmetic applications, with no data on injected use.

nah mate mine did the exact same thing a while back. from what i read oxidation happens and it doesn't mean it's lost its kick or gone bad. i just kept using mine normally and didn't notice any difference.
1 replyoh thank goodness! ๐ that makes me feel so much better, appreciate you letting me know!
I had a bit of a panic over that myself when I first started out. It seems pretty common for the colour to shift slightly over time when exposed to a bit of air or light. I ran it past my GP just to be sure and they weren't concerned about it at all.
From what I have looked into regarding chemical stability, colour variation is usually just mild oxidation rather than a complete degradation of the compound. I usually keep mine tucked away in a dark spot now and it seems to stay stable much longer.
